DURBAN HOLOCAUST & GENOCIDE CENTRE REOPENING 14 OCTOBER 2020 

As South Africa’s lockdown has moved to level one, the DHGC will be slowly and cautiously reopening to visitors from 14 October 2020. Visits are by appointment only and will follow special opening hours. The safety of our visitors and staff is our biggest priority, and best practice regarding Covid-19 prevention will be in place, including implementing the compulsory wearing of masks, social distancing, and limited daily visitors.

There is NO CHARGE to visit the DHGC, this includes guided tours. 

Donations are greatly appreciated as all our educational programmes are funded entirely by donations.

Parking is offstreet and secure. 

Our Centre is wheelchair friendly. 

Enjoy a good cup of coffee and a slice of our famous cheesecake at Circle Café or take a seat and reflect in our Garden of Remembrance.

All proceeds from Circle Café go towards our educational programmes at the DHGC.
