The March of the Living (MOTL) is an annual educational programme that takes students and adults from all over the world to Poland to study the history of the Holocaust and examine the roots of prejudice, intolerance and hate.
March of the Living is an international organisation based in New York City. As there is no official organisation coordinating the MOTL in South Africa, the South African Holocaust and Genocide Foundation volunteers to assist the international office in this regard – working closely with the three centres in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban.
