Commemorating Yom HaShoah in 2020

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, this year’s Yom Hashoah commemoration ceremony took place virtually. It was streamed on the South African Jewish Board of Deputies Facebook page and website..

In addition to this the testimonies of 24 South African Holocaust survivors were posted online over the duration of Yom Hashoah.
